Testimonials
-
In my 17 years at Tank Museum, the site has seen a complete redevelopment, doubling visitor numbers and quadrupling turnover. At the heart of our visitor offer sit our exhibitions, in which Richard Hale has been instrumental in achieving our success.
-
Richard is highly dedicated to his work and goes above and beyond to meet the requirement of the client. His design skills are the best we have come across in the industry, he is also an experienced project manager and makes every effort to obtain value for money as far as possible.
-
Richard has a talent for not just thinking outside the box but providing you with a new box you never knew you needed.
-
Needless to say, I was hugely impressed with my tour of the WW2 Exhibition. It really has been put together outstandingly well and the visitors were clearly really enjoying it.
We offer various services for museums, including consultations about what to display, 3D designs, CAD work, and model making.
Concept Ideas
To develop a plan that works for you, we need to fully understand the essential content for your exhibition, the size of the area, your target audience, the message you want to convey, and your budget. We can work with you to establish this information and then conceptualise ideas until you have a design you are happy with.Accurate 3D Visuals
3D visuals are an invaluable resource as you can change colour schemes, include display items or change their position, and add or remove walls, lighting, and graphics. Creating 3D visuals, architectural drawings, and fly-throughs lets you see your scheme in detail and scale so you can make changes before committing to manufacture.Creative Design
CAD software allows designers to create accurate design models, facilitating development and optimisation. Our designers provide detailed designs for project development, enabling you to realise a project before any construction or installation occurs. We use existing architectural plans to integrate our designs into the site’s master plan or exhibition area.3D Scanning
Your collection consists of unique assets. To determine which artefacts will be on display and how they will fit into the design, we use high-definition 3D scanning equipment to create digital replicas of each asset. Regardless of their size, we create 3D twins that are then integrated into the design to accurately represent how the objects will look when incorporated into the exhibition space.Model Making
Sometimes, a model is required for an exhibition, and we have been model-making for over 40 years. We provide stunning scale models of historical buildings and scenic terrain for museums and companies worldwide, specialising in scenic terrain and replica places of interest. We transform visitor’s perceptions of long-forgotten places and buildings, enabling them to be immersed in the storytelling. Project Managment
We can provide project management services if you need to delegate a project. Our team excels at identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate. We have years of experience in exhibition management and installing hundreds of projects. We are committed to providing exceptional value for your money and are passionate about recycling and environmental issues.
Starting as a husband-and-wife team, we have expanded our business to a small yet perfectly formed team. Based in South England, we are known for our exceptional creative skills and friendly attitude. One of our greatest achievements is building long-lasting customer relationships with returning clients.
How to calculate our costs
As a starting point, we base our costs on estimating how long a project will take, what elements are essential, and how much involvement you need. Below is a list of average charges you can apply to any project of any size and get an idea of how much it will cost.
Design Costs
We have a minimum design fee of £2000 to begin the interpretation plan and provide a basic 3D model of the exhibition space. The detailed plan will include all our combined concept ideas and feature your heritage assets assigned to the new exhibitions. The cost of designing more extensive exhibitions will depend on the extent of the project, but on average, we charge 10% of the overall exhibition budget. Payments can be made monthly and stopped anytime if we have achieved our goal.
Model Making
Please contact us for a quote for any physical models. To quote, we will need an image or idea of the model you require, the size or scale of the model, whether you need any scenic features, such as trees, rivers, roads, or grass, and whether you want a display case. The more details you provide the easier it is for us to provide costs.
Project Management
If you would prefer for us to project manage your exhibition we can offer an experienced project manager. The costs will be based on the location of the museum and how much on-site involvement you need. However, on average, project management is calculated at 5% of the overall budget costs.
