From NAAFI to Open Book

Rethinking a museum café

Every space tells a story, although sometimes that story needs to change.

At The Tank Museum, the café area was previously themed as a modern Afghan NAAFI canteen, complete with desert textures and impact detailing. It worked powerfully alongside the Afghanistan exhibition; however, when the museum introduced our new Ukraine exhibition, the space needed to evolve.

Local Based Entertainment (LBE) venues

An immersive attraction design project that reinterprets the visual language of the traditional fairground within the rapidly growing market for experience-led mini golf. Responding to changing audience expectations around social leisure, the project places atmosphere, storytelling, and spatial cohesion at the centre of the visitor experience, drawing on exhibition design principles to elevate a familiar leisure format.

New Horizon Park

Masterplan for RAF Scampton

New Horizon Park’s mission is to give back to the community by transforming the historic RAF Scampton site into a living legacy, one that honours heritage, drives innovation, and fosters economic, cultural, and environmental prosperity for the people of Lincolnshire.

We will achieve this through inclusive partnerships, transparent engagement, and a shared vision that unites local government, businesses, educators, heritage groups, and residents

Ukraine: War, Technology and Human Cost

The Tank Museum, Bovington | 2025

In March 2025, The Tank Museum opened a major temporary exhibition exploring the ongoing war in Ukraine. Installed within the Cold War Hall, the exhibition tells a contemporary story of conflict through armoured vehicles, first-hand testimony, and the lived experiences of civilians and soldiers.

The Storyland Studios Design Challenge invited designers and storytellers to participate in a creative brief shaped and judged by themed entertainment and architectural industry professionals.

The brief tested our abilities to interpret, conceptualise, and ultimately deliver a location-based entertainment attraction that can be utilised in multiple environments and locations.

Concept Ideas

To create a plan that suits your needs, we need to understand your exhibition’s content, space size, target audience, desired message, and budget. We can help outline this information and brainstorm ideas until you’re satisfied with the design.

3D Visualisation

3D visuals are a valuable resource for adjusting colour schemes, display items, walls, lighting, and graphics. They enable detailed architectural drawings and fly-throughs, allowing you to see your design in scale and make changes before manufacturing.

Creative Design

CAD software enables designers to create precise models, aiding project development and optimisation. Our detailed designs help you visualise a project before construction, using existing architectural plans to integrate seamlessly into the site’s master plan.

3D Scanning

We use high-definition 3D scanning to create digital replicas of your unique assets. These 3D twins are integrated into the design to accurately represent how the objects will look in the exhibition space. The team uses the Revopoint Miraco scanner, which has up to 0.02mm precision and 0.05mm accuracy.

Model Making

For over 40 years, we have created stunning scale models of historical buildings and scenic terrain for museums and companies worldwide. Specialising in replicas of places of interest, we help visitors immerse themselves in the stories of long-forgotten places and buildings.

Project Managment

We offer project management services for your needs, excelling at identifying and resolving potential issues. With years of experience in exhibition management and hundreds of successful installations, we deliver exceptional value and are passionate about recycling and environmental issues
